I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language and a PhD in Cultural Anthropology. My lessons are especially tailored for English-speaking beginners, with a strong focus on vocabulary building to help learners communicate as quickly as possible. I am known for fostering a warm, mentor-like relationship with my students, resulting in a high student retention rate.
