Qualified teacher with a Japanese language teacher training certification and over 10 years of experience. Taught in three UK universities in classroom, as well as, in one-to-one settings, and online. Skilled in developing courses, syllabus planning and creating learning materials tailored to learners’ needs.

I have lived in Japan, where I worked as a Foreign Language Teacher for three years. Whilst in Japan, I studied Japanese to N3 level. Being based in a Japanese primary school, I learnt how to read and write kanji, hiragana, and katakana, using the methods that a native speaker would. I can tutor beginner’s(A1), conversational, GCSE and N5 level. I can teach online or at my home, and can either be one-on-one or as part of a small group. I will provide lesson materials and you don’t need any prior Japanese language knowledge for my classes.

I’m a native Japanese speaker from Osaka. I have been teaching Japanese for over 4 years now. Most of my students started from beginner level and now they can have conversations all in Japanese. Some of them have already been to Japan, passed their JLPT test and begun working for Japanese companies. I usually use genki textbook and change how to teach depending on your needs and levels.
