I hold a B.A. in Japanese Literature and a professional Japanese language teaching qualification from JAL Academy. I have taught in a wide range of educational settings, including Japanese schools, British secondary schools, Sushi & Washoku College London and international language schools such as International House.

I specialise in online Japanese instruction for adult learners, with a particular focus on accurate pronunciation and pitch accent (ピッチアクセント). My teaching supports learners in developing clear, natural, and intelligible spoken Japanese, an area often insufficiently addressed in standard language courses.
