Degree in British and American Studies (Distinction). Degree in Welsh Studies (First Class). Relevant subjects included: second language teaching (English, Japanese and Welsh), translation and simultaneous interpretation. Specialised subjects are linguistics, especially phonology and phonetics, with which I can assist my pupils to acquire efficient communicative skills in their target language.Trained and qualified to teach English at junior and senior high schools in Japan. Over the last 5 years I have given Japanese tuition to various age groups ranging from primary school to those at higher education in the UK.
