Teaching Qualification in Japan (MA from Naruto University of Education, Japan). 3 years of teaching experience in Japanese schools. I taught English so I know how hard learning a foreign language is. I have TESOL qualification so I can effectively explain grammar system in both English and Japanese. Japanese is my mother tongue and I can teach both Keigo and dialect.

Qualifications: Japanese GCSE Grade A, JLPT N4 Grade A

Experience: 8 years of studying Japanese language and culture and 2 years of teaching experience. Over the last two years, I have privately tutored a number of University, secondary and primary school students in Japanese language and culture, a number of whom have successfully progressed to passing Japanese Language Proficiency exams, traveling to Japan and making Japanese friends. I teach via Skype online as well as in person for students who live in my local area. I have huge interests in Japanese pop culture: including anime, manga, J-Pop and J-Rock and make many of my own resources, including games and activities that incorporate these to help students who also share these interests.

JLPT Level 1, JTEST Rating: Advanced, 6 years’ experience of working in Japan as a language teacher (English, all levels and age groups, private, company and schools) and translator.

JLPT Level 3, BA (hons) Japanese Studies, 2 years living in Japan (1 year teaching in Japanese elementary and junior high schools). Currently teaching a Japanese Entry Level Adult Evening Class at a local college.
