Native Japanese from Tokyo living in the UK since 1992. A holder of the Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching Japanese as a Foreign Language. Have been teaching Japanese since 1995 but more intensely since 2015. My students include teenagers, young adults and professionals. Some are studying for GCSE/JLPT, some hope to be interpreter, some have Japanese connections, some hope to work in Japan in the future, some are preparing for a Japanese trip. I am very happy to design the lessons according to the learners’ needs including the cultural aspects.
